Nedbank extends mobile banking to businesses
Clients who are utilising the NetBank Business electronic banking platform can access a range of transactional capabilities via their cellphones.
Nedbank has extended its App Suite offering to include new functionality for business and corporate clients.

Clients who are utilising the NetBank Business electronic banking platform can access a range of transactional capabilities via their cellphones. The functionality includes viewing of balances and statement information, ability to authorise transactions (payments, transfers and adding of beneficiaries) as well as certain administrative functions, such as resetting and changing
passwords.
'Business clients can access this by simply downloading the Nedbank App Suite, if not already installed, and then activating the NetBank Business NedApp,' says Ian Carter, Nedbank General Manager of Electronic Banking, Payments and Africa.
This is in line with Nedbank’s strategic intent to allow regular releases of additional functionality and services into the Nedbank App Suite, without users having to update the app manually on their devices.

The Nedbank App Suite, including the NetBank Business NedApp, is currently available to Android phone users only. However, Nedbank says it is committed to releasing versions for Android tablets, iPhones and iPads, Blackberry and selected feature phones over the coming months.
