8ta extends 10GB data deal

In response to the market needs, mobile network operator, 8·ta has announced that it is extending its 10 GB Data Offering (24 month contract) until the end of June 2012.

First introduced in June this year, the data bundle costs R199 per month with the option of an additional 10GB Midnight Surfer Add-on bundle at an additional cost of R100 per month for use between 12am and 5am.

This promotion, has been very well received and demand for this promotion remains high, says 8ta. Through this promotion, amongst others, the operator believes it delivers on its promise to drive real value in the mobile communications industry on its high-speed network. 8·ta has effectively removed the high barriers to entry for users, providing broadband Internet at an attractive 1.5 cents per MB.

“8·ta also provides users with a safety net  to prevent bill shock, check balances, top up their bundle or opt to use out of bundle rates,” says Amith Maharaj, managing executive of Telkom Mobile.
