Job Description


A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with specialization in Information Technology.

*At least 3 years managerial experience at senior management level.

*Extensive knowledge of global use of information management and information technology processes. Ability to implement internal systems and controls to ensure sound information and technology management. Competencies such as programme and project management, strategic capability and leadership, problem solving and analysis, communication and interpersonal relations, financial management, basic computer literacy.

*Ability to work independently and under pressure.

*A valid driver’s license.


Align the department’s information management and technology with the strategic direction and business processes of the department. *Ensure availability of IT system and the provisioning of IT infrastructure services throughout the
Department.*Responsible for the development of information and technology systems and policies.

*Ensure implementation of internal control systems pertaining to information management and information technology management.

*Manage service level agreement with SITA and other suppliers of information technology goods and services.2
