New Chief Executive Officer For State Information Technology Agency

The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) welcomed Ms. Nontobeko Ntsinde, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation from the 01 July 2010.

 

On behalf of the SITA Board, Ms. Zodwa Manase: Chairperson of the SITA Board today announced its pleasure in having Ms. Ntsinde lead the executive team as the new Acting Chief Executive Officer for the organisation.

Ntsinde is a former head of corporate finance and international finance at the Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) and has worked on acquisitions and projects in 22 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. A former practicing attorney for 10 years in a private practice, she holds an MBA and has more than 15 years experience in the banking and finance industry. She previously also occupied the positions of Chief Operating Officer of Khula Enterprise Finance and Executive Director of Pamodzi Resources Fund, a private equity fund in the mining sector.

 

“Ms. Ntsinde fully appreciates the organisation’s needs and its requirements as it moves SITA into a new era. The SITA Board has full confidence in Ms. Ntsinde to lead the organisation and to implement the new strategic direction that has been developed for the organisation,” she said.

Furthermore her experience is underpinned by strong leadership, governance and strategic managerial expertise and therefore we believe that through her appointment SITA will advance confidently and comprehensively, as it implements a new strategy and direction for the organisation.”
